Greetings Patriot High School and welcome to the very first issue of “The Warrior Signal”. As the Journalism staff we would like to present you with a newspaper we hope you’d consider, well done.

The Journalism staff of 2007-2008 is a six-person team effort, which means, we do need your help. Our staff consists of: Alexis Schrimpf as editor & Chief, Janelle Clayton as Opinion Editor, Christina Valen as News Editor, Rebecca De La Torre as Features Editor, Rafael Hilario as Sports Editor, and Katie Huffman as Staff Writer. Each student has worked extremely hard at bringing our Students and Staff the best they could provide.

We would like to supply you with a personal message from our editor & chief, Alexis Schrimpf:

As Editor & Chief, a lot of stress is received throughout the year. I know this from the two years I’ve been enrolled in Journalism.  I knew when I took the roll of Editor & Chief, I had a whole other thing coming toward me, but it wouldn’t be a complete train wreck. In my opinion, we have a wonderful staff this year, and I’m looking extremely forward to working with each and every one of them. I know the staff, as well as myself, will provide you with the best they can. I really hope you enjoy the issue Patriot; we honestly put a lot of effort into making you guys happy.
